Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were like mini apartments, very clean, and had lovely views over the botanic gardens. The location was excellent, allowing me to walk around the city easily and access major transportation hubs. The dining experience was superb with made-to-order meals and a fresh supply of Portuguese custard tarts every morning. The friendly and helpful service, particularly from Manager Miguel, truly made my stay memorable.
The hotel is ideally located for exploring Lisbon, close to the Metro, and a short distance from the lively Bairro Alto and picturesque Principe Real viewpoint. While the rooms were dated and offered uninspiring views, the service from the dedicated staff members was exceptional, making our stay enjoyable overall.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, despite having very old furniture, were surprisingly clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a lovely balcony. However, the room size was small, and the furniture seemed a bit worn and damaged. The service was a bit of a letdown as there were struggles reaching the 4th floor with a damaged leg, but overall, the staff were friendly and provided useful travel tips. The location was convenient, within a 10-15 minute walking distance to many points of interest, though the uphill streets might pose a challenge for some. The dining experience offered mostly recycled food, but there were still tasty and fresh options. The facilities were decent, offering basic amenities to meet the needs of guests.
The hotel has a convenient location close to the Avenida da Liberdade and the historical center. The rooms are comfortable but show signs of wear and tear, including outdated furnishings. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff always ready to assist. The dining experience offers delicious made-to-order options. Overall, a good value for those who prioritize service and location over room quality.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were huge, fantastic, and very spacious, like a mini apartment, and very clean. The hotel is conveniently close to the city center with free parking outside and offers a good breakfast. The service was excellent, particularly from Manager Miguel, who went above and beyond with a great sense of humor. The location was excellent, allowing easy access to the city center and public transportation. The dining experience was really big and very good, with the chef speaking multiple languages. Overall, a great stay with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but quite noisy with open windows. The service was exceptional, with charming staff like Sara the Manager and Mr Pinto who serves an excellent breakfast. The location was ideal for exploring the center and the botanical garden, although the hilltop position was not initially disclosed. The dining experience was good with freshly made food but limited vegan options. The hotel facilities were satisfactory.
